Privacy policy

In short: dueday collects no data. None. The app works 100% offline and contains no networking code.

dueday is published by RET CONSULTING SRL, a Belgian limited liability company, registered office: Digue des Peupliers 71/B2-5, 7000 Mons, Belgium, company no. (CBE) 1022.588.549, VAT BE 1022.588.549, RLE Hainaut, Mons division ("we"). dueday does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data or usage data. The app contains no network communication of any kind, no user accounts, no signup, no advertising, no trackers and no analytics.

Everything you enter (recurring costs, budget, income, payday, preferences) is stored exclusively on your device. It is shared only with the dueday widget on that same device. We never have access to it.

• If you use the export feature, a JSON file is created at the location you choose (including, if you so decide, a cloud service such as iCloud Drive). This is entirely user-initiated and under your control.
• As with any iOS app, dueday's local data may be included in your device backup (iCloud or computer) depending on your iOS settings. That mechanism is operated by Apple and governed by your agreement with Apple.

dueday's reminders are local notifications, scheduled and shown by iOS on your device. No remote push notifications are used and no server is involved. You can disable them at any time in iOS Settings or in the app.

dueday embeds no third-party software development kits: no analytics, no ad networks, no crash-reporting services.

RET CONSULTING SRL processes no personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) in connection with dueday: since no data ever reaches us, there is no controller and no processing on our side. You exercise access, rectification and erasure directly on your device (by editing or deleting data in the app, or uninstalling it). Should you nevertheless wish to lodge a complaint, the competent authority in Belgium is the Data Protection Authority.

If a future version of dueday were to change any of these practices, this policy would be updated before that version is released, and the App Store "App Privacy" label would be adjusted accordingly.

This policy is governed by Belgian law.
